BAC
Abbey College was first accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC) in 1995.
It was most recently re-inspected in March 2010 and in April 2010 was re-accredited by BAC for a further four years.
Ofsted
Following a pre-registration inspection visit by Ofsted in December 2009, the College was formally registered with the UK government's Department for Education as an independent school in January 2010. The College will have a full Ofsted inspection prior to January 2011.
UKBA
The College has been classified as having highly trusted status (HTS) by the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) and is detailed as such on the UKBA's Tier 4 Visa register of sponsors.
21 Shining A-level Stars
Twenty one A* grades appeared on students’ A-level results sheets at Abbey College London amidst another very successful year for the College that saw 39% of A-level results being graded A* or A. This excellent achievement by Abbey College London’s students and staff is also set within the context of the College focusing on mathematics, sciences and economics; in other words what are regarded by many, including the top universities, as the traditional, more difficult A-levels.
